Lakshya Sen, India’s star shuttler and 2022 Commonwealth Games gold medalist, requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, and Minister of External Affairs S Jaishankar on Wednesday to fix visa concerns so that he may compete in the Japan and China Opens. No. 17 in the World Lakshya stated that his team requested for a visa on October 10 but has yet to receive it.
I have to travel to Japan & China Open on Sat. Me and my team applied for Japan visa on 30/10/23. We still haven’t got the visa. I have to apply for a China visa as well.

China Masters will be contested in Shenzhen from November 21 to November 26.
India’s badminton players will compete in a number of tournaments in November. Many shuttles will compete in the Japan Masters from November 14 to 19, as well as the China Masters from November 21 to 26.
