The Netherlands Cricket Team has joined forces with NORDEK in preparation for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023.

The Royal Dutch Cricket Association, the Netherlands’ governing body of cricket, has announced a sponsorship partnership with the blockchain and Web3 payments business, NORDEK, for the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

Following this agreement, the brand has been named the primary partner of the Netherlands cricket team for the 2023 World Cup.

In recent years, NORDEK’s connection with the Netherlands has been followed by a wave of significant finance and edutech corporations becoming partners with prominent cricket teams.

“This is a great period of boom in sports, especially in India, which is the fastest growing economy,” stated Raajessh Kashyap and Nawal Kishor, co-founders of NORDEK. By entering the cricket market, we hope to reach out to worldwide sports lovers as well as students interested in learning more about blockchain. Nordek wants to be the most business and consumer-friendly blockchain ecosystem for web3 payment mainstream adoption. And, like their grasp of cricket, our target consumers understand the length, width, and depth of agility.”

“With the growing business of blockchain across the world and the revolutionising of the fintech industry, we are happy to onboard Nordek as the title sponsor,” stated Monica Visser, CEO of Netherlands Cricket. The collaboration will not only increase trust in the ever-changing financial industry, but it will also open up new market possibilities in tandem with sporting events for learning and growing together.”

NORDEK strives to be the most business and consumer-friendly blockchain platform for widespread adoption of web3 payments. NORDEK is powered by the fast and low-cost NRK Network blockchain. NORDEK is designed to be easy to use for both blockchain and non-blockchain developers.

NORDEK hopes to expand its brand recognition in places where blockchain technology is gaining traction, particularly in the Middle East, where blockchain and finance technologies are growing tenfold. Furthermore, NORDEK provides “blockchain” training to universities and colleges. The corporation provides free education to over 100 institutes and universities.

The Dutch team has already arrived in India and is holding an adaptation camp in Bengaluru before facing a few regional opponents. They will next play pre-tournament warm-up games against Australia and India in Thiruvananthapuram.
